Dr. Kirk and Dr. John are both graduates from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and they are diligent in attending continuing education classes to stay current with the latest advances and treatments, thereby providing their patients with the best treatment options.

Kirk J. Hansen, D.D.S.
Dr. Kirk J. Hansen grew up in Moline and graduated from Moline High School in 2002. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education and went on to receive his D.D.S. degree in 2009. During his senior year of dental school, he was recognized with awards for excellence in clinical skills and chairside manner. Dr. Hansen will help preserve your smile and oral function through advanced restorative, cosmetic, implant, and prosthetic dentistry. He treats patients of all ages and enjoys working with families. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys being with friends and family, cycling, backpacking, gardening, Hostas, music, and sports.

John H. Hansen, D.D.S.
Dr. John H, Hansen, a Moline native, graduated from Moline High School. He received his undergraduate and D.D.S. degree from the University of Iowa. He began his practice in Moline with his former dentist and mentor, Dr. Milford J. Nelson. Through continuing education in new dental technologies, he continues to provide the best possible care to his patients. Dr. Hansen has been active in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and is past president of the Rock Island District Dental Society. Dr. Hansen and his wife, Francine, have two children. A lifelong exercise enthusiast, he has completed dozens of running, biking, and cross-country skiing marathons. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and, rain or shine, he starts every day with a run.

Hygienist: Donna
Donna received her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in 1975 and is a registered dental hygienist. She has worked in general dentistry offices in the Chicago area, Wichita, and Moline. In her spare time Donna enjoys beadwork/jewelry, bike rides, and golf.

Hygienist: Jennifer
Jennifer graduated from Carl Sandberg College in 2008 and is a registered dental hygienist. She previously worked at a periodontal office in Davenport, and is a new addition to our office. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking her dog Jack for his daily walks, going to the gym, camping, and being outdoors.

Office Manager: Inger
Inger has been involved in the dental field for 23 years. She began in dental assisting and is a certified dental assistant. She also has experience in implant and oral surgery, beyond her management schooling and classes. In her free time, Inger enjoys spending time with her large extended family and friends. She relocated back to the area and took the position December 1, 2008, after living down south for several years.

Business Assistant: Julia
Julia is our office/business assistant and performs a variety of services to help our patients with scheduling and coordinating their insurance issues. She has worked in the dental field for over 8 years and truly enjoys helping our patients. She has a B.A. from St. Ambrose College in Davenport. Julia has been married for 29 years, and she and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends. Her other pastimes are artwork, attending musical concerts, and spending time with the family Golden Retriever, Jack.

Dental Assistant: Amber
Amber is a new addition to our office family. She will be working with Dr. Kirk Hansen as his chair-side assistant. Amber has been working with the public for over 5 years and enjoys helping people. She graduated from United Township High School and is certified in dental assisting. Amber has a two-year-old daughter, Keegan, and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys camping, arts and crafts, and is involved in sports.

Dental Assistant: Brenda
Brenda grew up in Kansas and attended Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas for her associate's degree in Health and Nutrition. In May of 2001 she graduated from Flint Hills Technical College in Emporia, Kansas as a Certified Dental Assistant, and has worked in the dental field ever since. In July of 2009, Brenda and her family relocated to the Quad Cities. Brenda has been married for over 10 years, and has two boys named Brayden and Bryce. Brenda has also participated in several dental missions, including Kansas Mission of Mercy and an Augustana College trip to Nicaragua in February 2010.

Sterilization Coordinator: Suzie
Suzie is a dental assistant with 21 years of experience as an oral surgery assistant and front desk receptionist. In her free time she enjoys gardening, camping, and being outdoors.
